Greetings intrepid travelers. Here’s the latest news you can use or lose . . .

I’ve made a small change for my imprint in name and logo. I’m now publishing under MDK, Press LLC. Here’s the new logo:

In other news, the dates for the 2017 Colorado Book Award events have been released. I’ll be reading from Sunrise Summits: A Poetry Anthology  on April 21, 2017 at The Book Bar in Denver, CO. The evening starts at 7:00 PM (MDT, not sure of the reading order) and books will be on sale after the event (I will sign if you so desire). It would be great to your smiling face there! The award presentation is on May 21, 2017 starting at 4:00 PM (MDT.) The event will be held at the Parker Arts, Culture and Events Center in Parker, CO (Click Here for directions). I still pinch myself with every email about this event that shows up in my email inbox. But yes, it’s really happening and I couldn’t be more proud of the contributing poets from Northern Colorado Writers, LLC.

In other publishing news, a fund raiser kicks off today (CLICK HERE SUPPORT) to support the book Flash, the second flash fiction anthology published by Jason Brick. This is the second installment of Jason’s 100 author, 100 stories in 1K words or less anthology. (Here’s the first one) I’m proud to be in both of them with flash fiction genres I’ve never tried before. Here’s the scoop: support the book with a basic $20.00 gift and you get the book, saving $4.99 off the standard cover price. That’s only twenty cents per story! A paltry sum to support 100 authors! There are lower priced offers for the ebook and support levels as well.

In more other news, starting Saturday April 1, 2017 (no joking here) I’ll be kicking off National Poetry Month with the first of 3o poems by the contributing poets of Sunrise Summits: A Poetry Anthology. Each day will feature a poem not appearing in the anthology so you can read more from the poets in the anthology. (To read those, see the above purchase link!) Poet Bios will be included so you know where to find out more about them and where you can purchase their work.

In conclusion, I’ve been spinning Pablo Cruise tunes this past week. Here’s one of my faves (of so many.) Listen, enjoy, go find your place in the sun, and smile!
