Greetings all who have great patience waiting for me to post something new.

It’s been a busy month, centered around a car accident (no injuries but car totalled,) a 4-day bout with vertigo (yeah, I’ll pass on that again,) and of course, last week’s release of Northern Colorado Writers first poetry anthology Sunrise Summits: A Poetry Anthology.

Tomorrow I’ll be on Pirate Radio 93.5 at 7:45 AM (MDT) to talk about the book and Northern Colorado Writers. (You can listen online by clicking here.)

Then on November 6, 2016 I’ll be one of the guests on KRFC 88.9 FM with Richard Keller on his broadcast “Between the Pages.”  (You can listen online by clicking here. Then click on “listen” button on upper right hand corner for instant access.) I’ll be on air with one of our contributing poets of Sunrise Summits. The show airs at 6:00 PM (MST.)

And finally, I can announce my newest, upcoming release: 100 Haiku for the 80s Generation.

From the back cover:  “The 80s. A totally rad decade when hair was taken to new heights, we all wanted our MTV and everyone knew the answer to, “who you gonna call?” The Breakfast Club enlightened us about detention and Marty McFly took us back to the future.

100 Haiku for the 80s Generation will have you flash dancing your way through this gnarly era with these awesome haiku. With only 17 syllables, each poem will ignite a memory, transport you back in time, and have you dancing footloose faster than you can say, “where’s the beef?”

If you grew up in the ’80s, had kids grow up in the ’80s, or know a great decade when you see one, this book is for you. The full color book contains 100 haiku on iconic moments, celebraties, movies, TV and more.

Wonderfully designed by Carmen Ruyle Hardy and co-authored with Kerrie Flanagan, this has been the most fun project I’ve ever been a part of. Stay tuned for the release date in November.

There’s more to come next month, so stay tuned!!
