Fall is around the corner, but first it’s the September installment of the Insecure Writer’s Support Group, headed by ninja space opera author Alex Cavanaugh. Created to support, offer assistance and guidance, the IWSG helps writers overcome their insecurities, and by offering encouragement we are creating a community of support.

This month’s IWSG question: “How do you find the time to write in your busy day?”
For the last few months it’s been difficult. I knew I’d be giving up certain days/weeks without much writing time, and sure enough, that happened. But maybe I let those times glaze over the times when I could be writing. Now I’m struggling to meet deadlines and feel I’ve let others down.
I’m working on reclaiming what little time I perceive I have and have ambitious plans/goals ahead. But first, it’s three days in Leadville, CO with the veteran members of the Platte Rivers Chapter of Project Healing Waters Fly Fishing. Good community, support, food and of course, fly fishing to help ease the days and lives of those who have sacrificed and served our country.
When I get back, it’s on to the finish line to publish the first anthology of poetry from the talented members of Northern Colorado Writers, LLC. The anthology cover reveal will be soon!
Thanks for stopping by.
