Reece in his younger years

I have the distinct pleasure to be the first guest blogger at the Temporary World of Award Winning author Reece Daniel. His short story Dunk Tank received honorable mention in the 2015 Writer’s Digest Awards/Contest.

Mr. Daniel posts story sequences, typically every Friday, but he’s been gracious enough to open his blog to post a couple of my essays from my first book And Then I Smiled: Reflections on a Life Not Yet Complete.

My essays will appear next Friday August 5, 2016. Here’s the really cool part: Those that leave a comment will be in the running to win a copy or copies of one of my Hot Chocolate Press Books (Check them out:  CLICKETY-CLICK HERE.) But wait there’s more!

One grand prize winner will receive all three books from HCP and a copy of my first book from my own imprint MDK, Inc.Sometimes the Walls Cry: A Book of Haiku and Sketch.

And if you leave a comment by Friday August 12, 2016 you’ll receive a .pdf copy of my ebook short The Odyssey of a Monk.

Contest winners will be chosen based on their comments. Reece and I will be judging them on content, originality, humor, gratuitous complements,  etc. None of this random drawing stuff. If you get on the stick and leave some awesome creative mojo, there’s a great chance you’ll be rewarded.

Thanks to Mr. Daniel for sharing his space for my words. Be sure to check out some of Reece’s previous posts/stories  (CLICKETY-CLICK HERE) between now and next Friday. You’ll read some great work and sleep well knowing your link is working to comment on the 5th!
