Greetings all. Yes it’s been a long time since my last post. Life is playing cat-and-mouse with my time and energy, but that’s okay. It’s life and I’m happy to have the one I do.

A couple of quick notes:

  1. I am honored to have my poem In Meditation in this wonderful coffee table book coming out at the end of this month!

I’ve seen a preview of the photo/artwork that accompanies my poem and I must admit, it looks wonderful. The book should be an amazing piece of art and I encourage you to get your copies today!

2. April 17th is National Haiku Poetry Day and I’ll have some exciting news about a new release scheduled for that day. There might be an extra surprise as well. Stay tuned.

3. The first of three anthologies about healing waters is for sale.

Visit THIS LINK for information about purchasing. Also there is a call for submissions for volumes two and three which are open to all “healing water activities,” not just fly fishing. The website also accepts short pieces for publication on the website. Original posts are paid $25.00, reprints at $10.00. Send us your 1.5K word or less story!

4. Newest podcast I’m enjoying: The Creative Pen I heard about this via the NCW Podcast with Rich Keller last week. Both are great shows for writers.

5. Finally: just because it’s a cool photo: Sand Harbor, Lake Tahoe, Nevada, USA

As you can see, the water holds no scars.
