Last week I was blessed to get together with my friend and Vietnam veteran from TX to enjoy a couple days of fly fishing during his visit to CO. It had been nearly a month since I last wet a line and thankfully, the fish were hungry for our offerings.
After a great day like this, I am renewed with energy, hope, friendship, and peace. Which leads to me announce that the anthology I am editing, The Water Holds No Scars: Fly Fishing Stories of Rivers and Rejuvenation has extended its deadline for submission to September 15, 2015.
Working with Tulip Tree Publishing (CLICK HERE FOR WEBSITE AND SUBMISSION GUIDELINES), proceeds from the sales of The Water Holds No Scars . . . will be donated to Platte Rivers Project Healing Waters chapter, located in Southern WY and Northern CO.
Please share this information about this anthology with your fly fishing friends and encourage them to submit a personal essay/story of healing, happiness, or recovery while fly fishing. Accepted submissions earn the author a free copy of the anthology.
