I found the following in the book 100 Quotations to Make You Think! by Wolfgang Riebe:
“The mark of a successful man is one that has spent an entire day on the bank of a river without feeling guilty about it.”
I thought how sitting on the bank of a river for an entire day is one of the most honest, relaxing and personal experiences I could have. I thought of what I would be willing to give up, to spend a guilt-free day like that. I thought of the people who would enter my mind and wondered if I could let them go from my thoughts, so they would not impede on my peaceful respite. I thought during those moments riverside of the places I could go, adventures I could have and discoveries I could make.
And then I smiled, because I knew after spending an entire day alongside a river, I would find all those things inside of myself.
Certainly, that is a moment no one should ever feel guilty about.
