A great weekend at the Northern Colorado Writer’s Conference produced new friends, inspiration, and a few book sales to boot. Keynote speaker Chuck Sambuchino was witty and educational, Chuck Harris won the Top of the Mountain Book Award , Colorado State Poetry Out Loud Champion Alice Kilduff gave a fantastic recitation as she prepares for the National Championship in April, and Ilan Shamir‘s lunch performance on Friday with drumming and poetry was a great start.
Everyone received great advice, and Ilan provided the follow scribe/bookmark especially for the NCW Conference.

I’m gearing up for the April A To Z Blog Challenge and starting to organize my second book.
Here’s to a peaceful and productive week ahead. Wishing you a smile or two along your journey.
