Friday and Saturday, April 5th and 6th, I’ll be working with PHWFF Veteran’s and their volunteer guides at Sylvan Dale Ranch in Loveland, CO. This is my third year working with the Veterans of the Warrior Transition Unit from Fort Carson, CO, the Denver VA, and my own chapter, Northern CO/Southern WY.
PHWFF receives no government funding for its programs. As such, PHWFF relies on private donations, grants, and thousands of volunteer hours to fulfill its mission of promoting healing and recovering of our nation’s military personnel through fly fishing trips, fly tying, rod building, and education classes. All of this is done expense free to our Veterans.
Visit www.projecthealingwaters.org for more information and how you can help. If you’re in the Northern Colorado/Southern Wyoming area, send me an email at: firstname.lastname@example.org and we’ll see how we can get you involved.
Free Range Friday means FREE STUFF!
Leave a comment below about your volunteer work and organization, or even just how you’ve helped somebody out. If we all help a little, a lot gets done.
A random drawing will select winners for one of three CD’s of Chicken Soup for the Soul “My Resolution”. Each disk contains over 30 stories performed by Laurel Merlington and Jim Bond.
